Dear guests, we welcome you to Eiderpearl cottage.
We hope you have a pleasant stay in our lovely place. It's located in Lunden in Dithmarschen district, close to the river Eider and not far from the North Sea. If you're looking for a calm cozy place with a lot of nature to explore, here's the right place. Lunden offers everything for your stay: Bakeries, restaurants, banks with ATMs, an open air market, supermarket, three generals practioners and a dentist. Here's a list with all important addresses in the village.
Transportation
Train
Lunden has a train stop at the railroad between Hamburg and Sylt Island. The rail station is just a five minutes walk from the Eiderpearl. So, you can explore the region with public transport. Find the timetable here. Further informatioan is given by the local transport.
Bus
There are also several buses going to the villages around Lunden and to some cities around. Klick here for the timetables.
Bicycle
There's no better way to explore the the beatiful river and coast region than by bike. There is a bike rental service, that brings the bikes to Eiderpearl for the time of your stay. For more information check here for Eiderstedter Fahrradengel.
Places to go
Besides activities as swimming, sailing, riding bike, hiking and boating there are nice pleaces to spend time.
Friedrichstadt is a beautiful city also called little Amsterdam. It has lovely canals across town. It's takes just one train stop (six minutes) from our cottage to get there.
Toenning has a nice beach at river Eider with a lovely small harbor with restaurants and shops. It's also quite close to Lunden. You can reach it by bike oder bus.
St. Peter-Ordning nice coast village bearing 12 km beach - one of the longest sand beaches in Europe. Lovely shops and restaurants, famous kite surfing spot.
